SHEEP
Our sheep are Katadian/Dorper Cross Hair which produce a light coat of wool and hair that is shed late spring/early summer and don't require shearing. Our sheep are raised on solar arrays from April until November; a practice known as solar grazing.

Solar grazing is a method of vegetation control on a solar array site using livestock in lieu of mechanical machinery.

Our sheep are 100% grass fed and have access to a choice mineral and fresh water at all times. In the winter months, they are brought back to the farm where they are offered the hay we bale on the farm over the spring/summer. This also allows close watching while they birth lambs in our barns.

If you've never tried grass fed American lamb, be sure to give ours a try!
