OUR STORY

Since 1900, our family-farm has been providing quality meats for friends and family. Back Creek Farms is situated on 96-acres in south-central Pennsylvania. Our farm is proudly recognized by the Department of Agriculture as a PA Century Farm. As 4th, 5th and 6th generation farmers, we are grateful for the opportunity and look forward to continuing the legacy for decades to come.

None of this would be possible without those that came before us. We are especially blessed to call the 3rd generation on the farm Mom & Dad and Grandma & Grandpa.

In 1950, Pat and Ray purchased the farm from his father and moved into the farmhouse where they would have 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. They were married for 68 years prior to Pat’s passing in 2018. Pat was known for her endless love and amazing cooking. Prior to Ray's passing in 2021, he continued to live in the farmhouse and enjoyed sitting in his rocker overlooking the pond and regularly supervising by driving around in his golf cart.
